Guidelines for College Students Code of Discipline
Any child who comes to school habitually with an incomplete uniform will be sent home at the parent's risk.
Irregular absence, or unexplained absences, for more than seven days, habitual idleness, disobedience or objectionable moral influence, frequent failure to obtain “good” in conduct is liable to rustication, suspension, and even dismissal at the discretion of the principal.
Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school. Hence misbehavior in public streets and conveyances is liable to the same action.
No pupils who have been absent from school or been late to school will not be admitted to class without the class teacher’s remark and school authorities' signature.
Running, playing, or shouting on-premises is never allowed. A student found alone in the classroom, be it for study or any other motive will be dealt with.
Pupils from one class are not allowed to enter any other classroom during the recess periods.
Any kind of damage done to the school property will have to be made good.
Scribbling on books, desks, walls, etc is forbidden.
During the absence of the teacher, the head monitor of the class will be responsible for the order and discipline of the class
No student, except the monitor, is allowed to enter the teacher's room/ locker room.
When students move along the corridors, and when changing classroom, they must walk in silence and in a single file. They should always keep to the left.
Personal cleanliness and hygiene are expected from all students
All should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, seeds, etc. Anywhere on the school premises. They should use the baskets and dust bins especially provided for this purpose.
No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be started and no meeting, demonstration, party, or picnic is to be held in the school without the previous permission of the principal.
Presents to the members of the staff or other celebrations in their honour also require the previous sanction of the principal.
No books (other than text or library books), newspapers, or periodicals should be brought to the school without the principal’s sanction.
The school cannot make itself responsible for books, money, clothes and other articles that are lost.
Students must look after their own things. It is not advisable to have money or valuable articles with them. Girls are not allowed to wear any valuable or fashionable ornaments,
Students must compulsorily speak in English in school. And all school activities.
Students found using unfair means during an examination/test will be disqualified for the entire examination/test.
Each and every student should endeavour to keep up the high tone of the school by excelling in good manners and department. Hence for the smooth running of the school, no students should bring into the school any object to prove a source of disturbance, e.g crackers, water pistols, etc.
N.b. The attention of the pupils and parents is called to following rules of discipline.
1. Regularity and obedience are expected in the school.
2. Politeness and courtesy of speech and conduct, as well as cleanliness of dress and person, are inculcated.
3. Pupils are made to realise that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for the general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed o conduct out of the school on the part of the pupils would make them liable to discimlinary action.
4. Parents are given to understand that they cannot dictate to the management. The management has the right to say on what conditions they will admit and retain pupils in their school provided such conditions are in conformity with the instructions issued by the appropriate authority.
Pupils shall not take part in any political activities.
Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeated mischievous or is guilty of gross malpractice in connection with examinations or unauthorized alterations in leaving certificates, or who in the opinion of the principal, has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupils may be removed from the rolls. The removal may be temporary or permanent according to the offense.
