80th Independence Day Celebration
The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15th August 2026 at Jahnvis Multi Foundation’s educational institutions.
The programme was anchored by Junior College Vice Principal, Mr. Eknath Choudhari Sir. The celebration began with the respectful hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and a patriotic song presented by our Music Teacher, Mrs. Shreya Kulkarni.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Gujrati, Degree College Principal Dr. R. N. Nadar, Junior College Principal Mr. Alpesh Kobarde, CBSE Principal Mrs. Jothi Venkatraman, State Board In-charge Principal Dr. Tejavathi Kotian, along with other dignitaries, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents and students.
The celebration included March Past, Cycle Rally, dances, songs, drama, speeches and cultural performances by students from different sections. Our students and teachers also enthusiastically participated in the Dombivli Giant Tricolour Flag World Record event, showcasing their patriotism and unity.
Our President Sir and Madam were in Boston, USA, where they celebrated Independence Day at Harvard University with a few members of the Indian community. At our school, the flag was hoisted by the respected father of President Sir, representing the management on this special occasion.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks. The entire celebration was a memorable occasion filled with patriotism, unity and national pride.
