Meri Mati Mera Desh
Jana Gana Mana Junior College organized a morning rally titled "Meri Mati Mera Desh" on August 12, 2023, as part of the "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" campaign.
The event commenced at 7:30 am with all staff members and students assembling at the college. The rally route covered Kopar Station, Samrat Chowk, and returned to the college. Principal Dr. Prerana Kolhe, I/C Principal Alpesh Khobragade, Vice Principal Eknath Chaudhari, and Coordinator Meenakshi Deshpande were present.
Students exhibited high spirits, chanting slogans like "Inqalab Zindabad," "Vande Mataram," and "Bharat Mata ki Jai." Participants adhered to a dress code, with boys wearing white shirts and blue pants, and girls donning white kurtis with jeans.
The rally concluded by 8:30 am, followed by snacks and drinks provided by the college. The event aimed to promote patriotism and the significance of morning walks for physical and mental well-being.
