Jana Gana Mana Vidyamandir and Junior College partnered with ISKCON for a seminar on August 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. The topic was "Wisdom from Bhagavad Gita for students." H.G. Sri Sudama Das, a chartered accountant and dedicated ISKCON devotee, spoke about how the teachings of Bhagavad Gita can enrich lives. The seminar aimed to enhance students' lives by integrating spirituality into their education.

 

Dr. Rajkumar Kolhe (President of JMF), Prerana Kolhe (Principal of Jr. College), Jahnvi Kolhe (Treasurer of JMF), Alpesh Khobragade (I/C Principal), Eknath Chaudhari (Vice Principal), Amod Vaidya and special guests were present. The seminar started with lighting the lamp and welcoming guests. Sudama Das Ji introduced Bhagavad Gita's core concepts and shared the ABCD concept: Association, Book, Concentration, and Diet, linking them to students' development.

 

Sudama Das Ji stressed tolerance and taught concentration techniques. An ecstatic Kirtan 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' resonated, creating a devotional atmosphere. Prasadam was distributed, emphasizing its importance. Students were deeply satisfied, some even requesting more such sessions.
