Jana Gana Mana Vidyamandir & Junior College celebrated the 78th Independence Day on 15th August 2024 with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Gujrati and Mrs. Gujrati, Trustee Mr. Rajaram Kolekar, and other dignitaries, including Degree College Principal Dr. R.N.Nadar, Junior College Principal Mr. Alpesh Kobarde, and CBSE Principal Shamala Rao Madam. The program began with a warm welcome speech by Junior College Vice Principal Mr. Ekanth Choudhari Sir, followed by the respectful Flag Hoisting and singing of the National Anthem and patriotic songs by music teacher Mrs. Shreya Kulkarni. Students from CBSE and State Board participated in a parade, saluting the flag and guests. The program included:

• Speeches by students and dignitaries
• Songs and dances that showcased patriotic fervor
• A drama enacted by State Board students of Std 7th and 8th, directed by Mr. Pramod Pagare The celebration concluded with Vande Mataram, leaving everyone inspired by the precious words of the chief guests, who guided the students with valuable insights and motivated them to become responsible citizens.
• On this day our Founder President Hon.Dr. Rajkumar Kolhe Sir , Secretary Madam Dr. Prerana Kolhe and Vice Principal Dr. Tejavathi Kotian were in England,Where the hosted the Indian National Flag on British Land.This is a great pride for our JMF family.
