In the series of celebrations, our school had organized a Grand Parents Day celebration on eve of Jahnvi madam’s birthday on 17th February 2022. Just like the Earth and Sea lose their meaning without the Sun, the child and the future lose their meaning without Grandparents.

The chief guests Dr.Gujarathi and Mrs.Gujarathi arrived and our students welcomed them with a Tilak and showered flowers. Many of our grandparents took part in this celebration. Our students invited them with Tilak and showered flowers. The grandparents were happy to see their grandchildren’s program.

A welcome speech was given by two students of C.B.S.E. Miss.Niharika of std VII and Miss.Rishika of std VIII. The Programme started with a dance of Pre-primary children to show the importance and the value of grandparents. Primary children performed a drama regarding not to send the grandparents to Old Age Home. It was so a memorable event for the students and grandparents. After the events ended there was a Birthday Celebration of JAHNVI Madam by cutting the cake and a Birthday song is sung by state board Principal madam Shyamala Madam and by state board teacher Sapna Yannam. Later on, Jahnvi madam presented a shawl to all grandparents.

Snacks were distributed to grandparents.

A visit was been arranged by our secretary madam Dr.Prerana R.Kolhe. They were taken to the temple in Dombivli (East) to Khidkali Shiva temple. The guide to this tour was our Vice-Principal - Ms.Tejavathi Kotian and Senior teacher Mrs.Lalitha Narayanan. All grandparents enjoyed this day. This was a memorable day for all the grandparents throughout their life and had a new experience.
